On Sunday 12/6 from 11am-1pm at Allen Park the Plainview JHawk Pony Team we will be playing a special fundraiser game against the Farmingdale Titans NSFL Pony Tier 3 Super Bowl Champion team  

Many of you have read about the following unfortunate events which transpired in our neighboring town of Farmingdale:

On Sunday November 15^th:

Bryan Enriquez (a 14 year old Farmingdale High School student) was tragically killed while crossing the road on his way home from a friend’s house. His family could not afford a proper funeral/burial.  He was a member of the Farmingdale High School Band.  On the same day a food pantry located in Farmingdale called Hope For the Future Ministries (which provides food/clothing to the less fortunate) burned down.  We’re asking each person who attends this game to donate $5 (or whatever you can afford to give) which will go towards both causes (and if possible bring a can of food or a gift for a child for the holidays which will go directly to Hope For the Future).  

WBAB 102.3FM is providing free air advertisements in their rotation this week to help drive as many people to this event.   We’d love to see as many people from Plainview come down to support these two causes.

From Hempstead Turnpike/Rt 110; Proceed West bound on Hempstead Turnpike (Conklin St) to Main Street (Main Street is first traffic light after St. Killians Church). Make left onto Main Street. Continue down Main Street getting into right lane as you approach Rail Road Crossing. Make Right turn at traffic light after crossing over tracks onto Motor Avenue. Make Right into park at traffic light.

From Hempstead Turnpike/ Rt 135; Proceed East on Hempstead Turnpike. As you approach Train Trestle, get into right lane and make Right turn at first traffic light after you go under tracks onto Merritt Road. Take Merritt Road to Second Traffic Light. Make Left onto Motor Avenue. Make Left into park at traffic light.


From Rt. 110/Main Street; Proceed North on Main Street to Motor Avenue (Motor Avenue is the block before the Rail Road Tracks). Make Left onto Motor Avenue. Make Right into park at traffic light.

From Southern State Parkway; Take Parkway to Exit 32N Rt 110. Get into
Left lane. Make Left at traffic light onto Main Street. Follow above
